Advertising for your business becomes more effective as you dial in and optimize your traffic, site performance, and tracking tools.
For those who are engaged in paid traffic, or just want to track and optimize their customer's journey, here's a guide to help you get started.
Webform > yourwebsite.com
The Squeeze page is where you're seeking data from your customer in exchange for information from you. In our case, we're exchanging their contact information for a quote from your organization. This is typically the page where you'd naturally send paid traffic with a great call to action followed by the Cronetic Webform.
Quote Page > quotedetails or quotedetails.php
Once a customer inputs the information and your Cronetic account was able to gather enough information to respond with a quote, the site will direct them to a quote page. The customer will be encouraged to complete the booking process by plugging in the necessary data to get their vehicle transported.
Checkout > book_order or book_oder.php
Upon completion of the quote page, the next page will be the checkout page whether your account is configured to capture payment or just a signed agreement.
Completed Reservation > cronetic_thankyou or cronetic_thankyou.php or {{yourthankyoupage}}
The final destination of your customer's journey is the completed reservation. This page should trigger a successful event to your tracking software.
Most tracking software allows you to capture events such as clicks and field input also.
Things to consider when doing paid advertising.
CTR - When driving traffic, make sure your ads have a great Click Through Rate. The better the click-through rate, the lower the CPC. This can be improved by split testing different images, videos, headers, body, and CTA (buttons, etc)
CPC - the lower the CPC, the more clicks you can afford. This can be improved by making sure your CTR and Engagement rates are at the industry standards or lower.
Bounce Rate - No one likes a glitchy website. Gives off the impression that the company isn't on top of its technology, what else aren't they on top of? Make sure your landing page has amazing load times, a clean and responsive layout, and engaging content. Especially if you're doing paid traffic. What most experts do is send their traffic to a funnel page that's specific to the ad.
A tool that we like to use to test our website's performance is > https://tools.pingdom.com/
Want to see why people are bouncing? Check out Hotjar.com. We plan on including our own in an upcoming version release. The tool records your user's experience. It's a great way to see what keeps them there, or why they decided to leave.
And finally, a tool that will definitely reduce your bounce rate, CPA while doubling your Conversion Rates and ROAS is digifront.app.
This tool is a website plugin widget that helps give your website visitor proof that your business is reputable and has other clients that are enjoying your services in real-time.

Conversion Rate
This is probably the most important KPI for your online business (possibly second to ROAS). This reflects your system's overall performance. To increase your organization's conversion rate, be sure to dial in all of your processes. This includes both tops of the funnel and your back end. A great website and automation will mean nothing if your back end becomes the bottleneck.
Finally,
NEVER STOP TESTING!
A saying we like to go by is, "If you're not growing, you're dying." Although this applies to everything in general, we believe that this is very crucial to understand in order to thrive in today's business world.
On average, small business owners will set out to create one web page, one post, and one email template and never test, then wonder why they're not seeing the results that they set out to achieve. They even sometimes blame the system they're using. ::cough::.
Don't be that company. Test, find a control, then test against the control until you find a version that outperforms the control.
We hope you found value in this brief overview of how to optimize your customer's journey while being able to track and scale using Cronetic's workflows.
